On Saturday, following her 39th birthday celebration earlier in the week, Khloé Kardashian expressed her eagerness to enter her 40s.
In a moment shared on her Instagram Stories, while admiring one of her birthday cards, the reality star confessed her dislike for her 30s, dubbing it ‘the worst decade ever.’
The last decade was a mixed bag for Khloé, marked with joyous events such as the birth of her two kids, five-year-old True and baby Tatum who turns one this month.
However, she also had her fair share of trials, including a highly-publicized divorce from Lamar Odom, who came dangerously close to losing his life due to an overdose in a brothel during their separation period.
Khloé’s romantic life was further complicated by her tumultuous relationship with Tristan Thompson. He fathered her two children but was continually unfaithful to her.
As a hopeful 25-year-old in 2009, Khloé walked down the aisle with Lamar, only a month after their first encounter.
Together, they launched a joint perfume, Unbreakable Bond, but their relationship was rocked by Lamar’s repeated infidelities, prompting Khloé to file for divorce in 2013, shortly before her 30th birthday.
When Lamar was found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel in 2015 due to an overdose, Khloé, despite their ongoing divorce proceedings, rushed to his side.
She temporarily withdrew her divorce petition to legally make health decisions on his behalf while he was incapacitated. Their divorce was finalized in December 2016, a few months after Khloé’s 32nd birthday.
Between 2016 and 2021, Khloé and Tristan had an on-again, off-again relationship, which was repeatedly disrupted by his infidelity.
On the eve of True’s birth, DailyMail.com revealed Tristan’s alleged affair with Lani Blair, a New York City strip club bartender. Despite this, Khloé and Tristan stayed together until Tristan’s kiss with Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s former best friend, led to their split in 2019.
During the COVID-19 lockdowns, Khloé and Tristan moved in together for their daughter True’s sake and ended up rekindling their relationship. However, rumors of their latest separation started making rounds in June 2021, with Tristan denying numerous infidelity allegations.

Maralee gave birth on December 1, releasing her son’s first public pictures and a statement a few weeks later. Tristan admitted he was the child’s father in a January 2022 Instagram post after a paternity test.
Upon learning about Tristan’s new child with Maralee in the season finale of The Kardashians, Khloé launched a scathing attack on her ex. Kim Kardashian had read out the news on DailyMail.com that Tristan had admitted in court papers to being a father again, leading to an emotional Khloé expressing her hurt and humiliation over yet another public scandal.
She vented her frustration and anger in the episode, likening her life to an unwanted circus show, with Tristan playing the unwelcome clown.
Khloé’s relationship with Tristan began while his ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, was pregnant with his first son, Prince, now six years old. Despite Jordan claiming she and Tristan were still together when Khloé entered the picture, Khloé maintains she believed he was single at the time.
