We’ve got some delightful baby news to share.
Meghan Trainor, the “Mother” singer, and Daryl Sabara of Spy Kids fame have just celebrated the arrival of their second child, a baby boy named Barry Bruce Trainor. Announced on Instagram on July 4, little Barry joins his two-year-old brother, Riley, in the growing family.
Meghan wrote on her post, “On July 1st, the 7 year anniversary of our first date, we were blessed with the arrival of Barry Bruce Trainor. He was a sizable 8lbs 7oz…and in a transverse position, but we had a smooth and successful C-section, followed by some beautiful skin-to-skin time!”
The 29-year-old singer, who also welcomed Riley through C-section, expressed her gratitude to the medical team. “A huge thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses who took such excellent care of us,” she added.

After the announcement of baby Barry’s birth, Meghan’s social media was inundated with congratulations and warm wishes from her fans, friends, and fellow celebrities.
Paris Hilton responded, “Congratulations sis! Overjoyed for you!”
In the same spirit, Mandy Moore commented, “You go, Mama!! And a big welcome to the world, Barry!! You’re one lucky boy!!”
The birth of Barry comes a little over five months after Meghan, known for her hit “Made You Look”, revealed she was pregnant on a January 30 episode of Today.
“I’m expecting!” exclaimed Meghan. “We did it!”
“I enjoy sharing news of my pregnancies with all of you,” Meghan told the hosts. She had previously announced her first pregnancy on Today in 2020. “You guys are simply the best.”
When asked if her firstborn, Riley, was aware of her pregnancy, Meghan shared, “We’ve been telling him, ‘Baby in mama’s belly.’ Now, he points at his belly and says, ‘Baby.'”
